Questions You Might Be Afraid to Ask
(And the answers you deserve)

What exactly is intimacy coaching?

1

Intimacy coaching helps you move from shame, silence, and suppression around your sexuality and intimate life into clarity, freedom, and full self-expression. It is not therapy - it does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. It is a forward-focused, conversation-based process that centers your goals and your definition of what liberation looks like for you.

How is this different from therapy?

2

Therapy explores and heals the past. Coaching moves you toward the future you want. Both have value - and they work differently. In our sessions, we focus on where you want to go and what is standing between you and getting there. If deeper clinical support serves you, I will always say so.

Do I have to share things I’m not ready to share?

3

Never. This work moves at your pace. You set the agenda for every session. Nothing gets explored before you are ready to explore it.

Who do you work with?

4

All genders. My deepest commitment is to Black women and those carrying intersectional identities - LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, disabled, and chronically ill - communities that mainstream wellness spaces have historically overlooked. Every person who comes to this work deserves to feel fully seen.

What happens in a first session?

5

You tell me what brings you here and what you want your life to look like on the other side of this work. I tell you exactly how I work and what you can expect. We address logistics, the coaching agreement, and scheduling. Most importantly, you get to feel what it is like to be in this space before we go any deeper.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

6

Yes. Sessions are available virtually, serving clients across the Triangle and beyond.

How do I get started?

7

Book a call. We will take it from there.
